Mary Louise Gossum

Mrs. Mary Louise Simons Gossum, age 94, of 
Fulton, KY passed away Saturday, September
17, 2022 at The Waters in Union City, TN.

She was born on January 28, 1928 in Fulton, KY to the 
late Melbern Ellis "Butch" Simons and Gladys Boone Simons. 

Mary Louise was a member of the Fulton First United 
Methodist Church where she was involved in the prayer
shawl ministry and was the church historian. She was a homemaker
and a member of the Fulton Genelogical Society and a member
of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also
a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha Sorority.

She is survived by two sons: Mike (Janet) Gossum
of Fulton, KY and Pat Gossum of Fulton, KY,
five grandchildren: Sara (Marc) Johnson of Hinsdale, IL,
Natalie (Nick) Lyndon of Cincinnati, OH, Michael (Kate)
Gossum, Jr of Bowling Green, KY, Nick Gossum of 
Las Vegas, NV and Tara Gossum of Las Vegas, NV, 
five great-grandchildren: Davis, Luke, and Charlotte
Lyndon all of Cincinnati, OH, Marshall and Stella
Gossum of Bowling Green, KY.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by
her husband, Felix M. Gossum, Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, September
22, 2022 at the Fulton First United Methodist Church with burial
to follow in Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the 
First United Methodist Church from 11AM Thursday until the 
hour of service.
