Mary Nell Amptman

July 27, 1929 — November 21, 2008

She was a member of the South Fulton Baptist Church. She lived in St. Louis,MO. for 20 years and moved back here in 1978. She worked in Food Service Management at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

She is survived by three daughters , Linda Hankerd ( Mike) of Thorton, CO., Helen Louise Colter (Ken) of Maplewood, MO., Lisa Easterwood ( David) of Troy, TN., two step daughters, Delores Gillette (Mickey) of Warrenton, MO., Sharon Steffe (Gene) of Fenton, MO., three grandchildren, Jason Hankerd, James Easterwood, Colton Easterwood,three step grandchildren, Richard Prater, Cindy Schwagmann, Steven Prater, three sisters, Willowdean Zickefoose, Bessie Lou Tune, and Bonnie Ruth Eastep
all of South Fulton, TN., and also several great grandchildren and several necies and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer Lee Amptman, November 10, 2008, her parents Raymond A. and Grace Crockett Roach, her step father Walter A. (Ted) Roach, a daughter Ellen Amptman, and two step grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mary Amptman will be held at 11AM Tuesday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8PM Monday and anytime after 8AM Tuesday until the funeral hour. Memorials may be made to the South Fulton Baptist Church.
