Marvin G. Gilbert

Mr. Marvin Glen Gilbert, age 76, of Fulton, KY
passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Mercy
Health-Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

He was born on November 3, 1944 in Graves County,
KY to the late Bruce and Hazel McCalister Gilbert.

Marvin was a member of the Water Valley Missionary 
Baptist Church. He graduated from Wingo High School
in 1962 and worked for Holt Construction and then went
into farming. Marvin also owned and operated Gilbert
Construction. He lived all of life in this area.

He is survived by his wife, Nina Kay Crittenden Gilbert
whom he married June 12, 1965, a daughter Deanna
(Ron) Peevyhouse of Union City, TN, a son Stacey Gilbert of
Water Valley, KY, a grandson Zachary Gilbert of Mayfield,
KY and a sister, Suzanne Adams of Water Valley, KY.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by twin
sons; Richard Iven Gilbert and Ward Allen Gilbert.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday in our funeral
chapel with burial to follow in the Water Valley Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-9PM Tuesday.
