Martha McKenzie

Mrs. Martha Chambers McKenzie, age 81, of 
Hopkinsville, KY and formerly of the Twin Cities
passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the 
Christian Care Nursing Home in Hopkinsville, KY.

She was born on September 26, 1941 in Mount Vernon,
IL to the late Charles Evan and Evelyn Rose Fults Chambers.

Martha was a member of Benton Baptist Church in Benton
and was a Postmaster in Dexter, KY. She was also 
a member of the Eastern Star and White Shrine.

She is survived by a son William "Mike" (Sharrie)
McKenzie of Troy, TN, a daughter Julie (Dale) Toms of 
Hopkinsville, KY, a grandchild Macey (Austin) Lewis of 
White House, TN, three step-grandchildren: Kayce Toms
(Dalton) Castile, Cody Toms and Ashley Toms of 
Hopkinsville, KY, two great-grandchild: Piper and Isabella 
Castile of Hopkinsville, KY, a brother Bobby Chambers 
of Mulkeytown, IL and a sister Gladys Dennis) Pierce of
Gilbertsville, KY and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband
William P. "Buddy" McKenzie and a brother Billy Chambers. 

Funeral services will be held at 3PM Sunday, November 6, 2022
in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial
Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1PM Sunday
until the hour of service.
