Marshall D. Mann

Mr. Marshall D. Mann, age 68, of Springville, TN and formerly of this area, died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at his residence.
He was a member of the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Union City,TN and was a U.S. Army veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 89, Amvets Post 45, VFW Post 1889 and was a retired forklift operator for the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Union City. He had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Patty (Higgs) Mann, Springville, TN, a
daughter Major Kelly Mann and wife Mattielin of Honolulu, HI, four
brothers Leon Mann & David Mann, both of Fulton,KY, John Mann of
Hampton,VA, Bobby Mann, Gilbertsville,KY and two sisters Bodie Carolyn Outland, Calvert City,KY and Mae Croft, Jeffersonville, IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Evelyn (Lemond) and James
Adrian Mann and six brothers and two sisters.
A "Celebration Of Life" Service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, February 1 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Friday and from 11 am - 2 pm on Saturday.
