Mrs. Marjorie Wicker of South Fulton, TN died Monday, Jan. 19, 2009 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield,KY.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
and had been a machine operator for the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing in South Fulton. She married John McCree in 1950 and later divorced. Later she married Buford T. Wicker, who preceded her in death on March 30, 1997. She had lived in this area most of her life.
She is survived by a daughter Patricia Hall of Brigham City, Utah, 2 sons Willis McCree of New York CIty, New York and Herbert McCree of Brighton, TN. 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. 4 sisters Marine Watts, Luvern Akers and June Alexander, all of Fulton,KY
and Janice McIntyre of Leesburg, VA.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Mazie (Fulcher) and
Herbert F. Slaughter and 3 brothers Bruce Slaughter, Herbert Slaughter and Pete Worley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 24, 2009 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
Interment will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens in Union City, TN. Visitation for Mrs. Wicker will be from 5-7:30 p.m. on Friday and anytime after 8 am on Saturday until the funeral hour.
