Marion E. Jones

February 27, 1918 — May 4, 2008

He was a retired carpenter and had been a member of the former
Oak Grove Church of Christ in Dukedom, TN. He was a veteran of
the U.S. Army having served in World War II. He had lived in this area most of his life and had also lived in Warren, MI for about 20 years.

He is survived by a son and daughter in law - Jimmie and Debbie Jones of Fulton, KY, 3 grandchildren- Wendy Heatherly of Murray, KY, P. J. Jones of Union City, TN and Shelly Rosales of Austin, TX, 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife -Vivian Ophelia (Foster) Jones, June 3, 2007, his parents - Lee and Lucy (McClain) Jones, 5 brothers -Estes Jones, Henson Jones, D. J. Jones, Allen Jones and Theron Jones; and 3 sisters - Beauton Howard, Valeria Carney and Montez Blackard.

Funeral services for Mr. Jones will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday,
May 7,2008 in our funeral chapel with Rev. Danny Potts officiating.
Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. Jones will be on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and anytime on Wednesday until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund c/o Paula Lamb 301 West State Line, South Fulton, TN 38257.
