Marilyn Stokes

Mrs. Marilyn Ann Stokes, age 90, of Fulton, KY died Monday, February 6, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.

Mrs. Stokes was a member of the First Christian Church in Fulton, a
past President of the Fulton Woman's Club and very active in the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a 1948 graduate of the University of Arkansas and had worked as a social worker for the Department of Human Resources for the state of Kentucky. She lived most of her life in this area.

She is survived by two children; Linda Ann Stokes of Fulton, KY and
David (Marsha) Stokes of Union City, TN, five grandchildren; Jenny Lynn Bond of Tupelo, MS, Emily Miller of Union City, TN, Kelly Johnston of Milan, TN, Justin Stokes of Union City, TN, Molly Napier of Nashville, TN and four great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William Boyd "Bill" Stokes and her parents, Clarence and Beulah Bartley Francis.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Thursday until the hour of service.
