Margaret Earl Jones

Mrs. Margaret Earl Jones, age 97, of South Fulton passed away on
Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Anna Mae Owen Residential
Hospice House in Murray, KY.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY
and had been the manager for the former Park Terrace Hotel and
Restaurant in South Fulton. Mrs. Margaret was an avid bridge player,
was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star and was a Cub Scout Den
Mother for Den #11. She had lived in South Fulton area all of her life.

Mrs. Jones was born in Water Valley, KY to the late Carl Puckett, Sr. and
Ruth Holland Puckett on March 21, 1922. She is survived by two sons and
their wives John Carl Jones, Sr. (Judy) and Stanley Gordon Jones II (Jeanie),
all of South Fulton,TN; she was "Nana" to eight grandchildren: Kym Kane of
Knoxville, TN, Christy Mc Cord of Knoxville,TN, Millie Stubblefield of Nashville,
TN, John C. Jones, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Stanley G. Jones, III of Houston, TX,
Jeanie Elise Jones of Dallas, TX, Annie Mae Jones of Brooklyn, NY and
Joseph Presley Thomas Jones of Knoxville, TN and eleven great
grandchildren and a brother Ralph Puckett of South Fulton,TN.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
Stanley G. Jones, a son Presley Thomas Jones, a brother Carl Puckett,
Jr. "Sonny" and a sister Marjorie Vivian Owens.

Funeral service will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, Nov. 6 at the First United
Methodist Church in Fulton, KY with burial to follow in the Obion Co.
Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the First United Methodist Church
from 1 pm Wed. until the funeral hour.
