Luther Farmer

March 4, 1929 — January 27, 2009

He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of the Lear-Siegler Company in Union City, TN. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in World War II. He had lived in this area for about 40 years.

He is survived by 2 sons and a daughter in law Mike and Kim Farmer of Fulton, KY and David Farmer of Union City, TN. A daughter Debbie Workman of South Fulton, TN, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Mae (Hughes) Farmer,
his parents Luther and Maggie (McLeary) Farmer, a son Robert Farmer, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Greenlea Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for services. Memorials may be made to the Twin Cities Ambulance Service, 340 Browder St., Fulton, KY 42041.
