Lloyd Gaskins

Mr. Lloyd Gaskins, 86, of Hickman, KY passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Lloyd was born on March 6, 1935 in Fulton County, KY to the late Odie Lee Gaskins and Lois (Johnson) Gaskins. He worked most of his life as a truck driver in the construction industry and was also a member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Gaskins is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Jimmy, Buddy, and twin brother Floyd Gaskins.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Thomas) Gaskins of Hickman, KY; a son, Lloyd (Venessia) Gaskins of Fulton, KY; daughter, Lisa (Mike) Hopson of Union City, TN; grandchildren, Jessica (Michael) Gardner, Jason (Anna) Gaskins, Callie (Justin) Warmath, Jonathan (Ashley) Hopson, and Jared Hopson; great grandchildren; Caleb Hayden, Emily Gaskins, Mason Gaskins, Katelyn Gardner, Sarah Gardner, Abigail Gardner, Allison Warmath, Lily Warmath, and a great grandson, Booker Hopson.

Funeral services for Mr. Lloyd Gaskins will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY from 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Jason Gaskins, Mason Gaskins, Jonathan Hopson, Jared Hopson, Justin Warmath, and Michael Gardner will service as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be James Coffey, Van Ellingburg, Brad Ellingburg, and Chuck Hobbs.
