Lillie Mae Melton

Mrs. Lillie Mae Melton, age 95, of Fulton, KY died Monday, June 26,
2017 at the Diversicare of Fulton.

She was born in Graves County, KY, graduated from Pilot Oak High
School and worked at the former Henry I. Siegel and Ferry Morse Seed
Company where she worked in the office and retired in 1977.

She was a member of the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church in
South Fulton where she was very active, a member of the
Fulton County Homemakers. Mae and Otis loved to travel and had visited 47 states, Canada and Mexico. Mrs. Melton was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and loved everyone. She lived in this area all of her life.

She is survived by her husband of 73 years, Otis E. Melton of Fulton, KY, whom she married May 28, 1944, while Otis was stationed in Moultrie, GA with US Army Air Force, two daughters Andrea (Duane) Sikes of Bandera, TX and Connie (Mike) McNeely of Fulton, KY, one grandson Johnny (Morgan) Jamison of South Fulton, TN and a great grandchild Macy Jamison of South Fulton, TN, a sister Katherine (Larry) Henderson of South Fulton, TN and
several nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents James A. "Jim" and Nancy Alma Yates Martin, two brothers and a son-in-law, Larry Jamison.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Greenlea Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Wednesday.
