Mrs. Lillie Mae Black, 86, of Hickman, KY, passed away at her residence on Thursday, March 2, 2023.

Lillie Mae was born on May 17, 1936 in Fulton County, KY to the late Albert and Zula (Goodman) Williams. She was a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church and a long serving teacher of the JOY ladies Sunday school class. Lillie Mae lived and worked on the family farm most of her life, and spent time as a caretaker to others.

In addition to her parents, Lillie Mae is preceded in death by 3 brothers, 2 sisters, and a great granddaughter, Lennon Black.

She is survived by her husband, James Black of Hickman, KY, sons, Greg (Teresa) Black and David (Gail) Black of Hickman, KY, daughter Melinda (Kevin) German of Somerville, TN, brother Garland (Shirley) Williams of Hickman, KY, sisters Brenda (Billy) Green of Calvert City, KY, Doris (Lynn) Walker of McKenzie, TN, grandchildren Felisha (JP) Amberg, Ashley (Derek) Goodson, and Jay Black of Hickman, KY, Lauren (Brian) Arnold of Phoenix, AZ and Adrienne (Chapman) Offutt of Paducah, KY, Brandon (Tori) Watts of Hickman, KY, Blake (Victoria) Watts of Colorado Springs, CO, Joshua (Chelsea) Watts of Moscow, TN, Jacob (Kayla) Watts of Somerville, TN, Courtney (Bob) Holden of Oakland, TN, Jeremy (Heather) German of Arlington, TN, great grandchildren, Mia, Myles, and Maddox Amberg of Hickman, KY, Keaton, Collin, and Kaegan Goodson of Hickman, KY, Kylie Hurt of Arlington, KY, Kinsley Black of Hickman, KY, Jameson and Natalie Arnold of Phoenix, AZ, Milo Offutt of Paducah, KY, Tatum Watts of Hickman, KY, Addilyn Watts of Moscow, TN, Vail and Vanna Watts of Colorado Springs, CO, Gage and Scarlett Wilkerson of Moscow, TN, Mallory, Kylie, and Roddy Holden of Oakland, TN, Myah, Carter, and Hudson German of Arlington, TN, and her caretaker Angie Webb of Hickman, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Mae Black will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the East Hickman Baptist Church with Bro. John Poor and Dr. Brian Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, March 5, 2023 at the East Hickman Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until service time.

The grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
