Lillian Swan Bowers

Mrs. Lillian Swan Everett Tarver Bowers, 84 of Hickman, KY died December 18, 2021 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.

Swan was born on February 26, 1937 in Hickman to the late Jess Willard Everett and late Leone (Cole) Everett Luter. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Sidney King Everett, Richard Harold Everett and Charley Wayne Everett, sisters, Sandra Kay Everett and Annette Mathis.

Mrs. Swan was a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church and was retired from the former Brown Shoe Company after 23 years.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Earl Bowers of Hickman, son, John Jeffery (Joy Ann) Tarver of Tiptonville, TN, daughter, Susan (Scott) Malone of Hickman, grandchildren, Matt O’Connor of Union City, TN, Clint (Carlie) Malone of Jackson, TN and Judd Malone and his fiancé, Anna Reid Garrigan of Paducah, and Mike Wayne Estes of Tiptonville, and great grandchildren Charlee Kate O’Connor and Weston Malone, brother, James “Humpy” Everett of Popular Bluff, MO, sisters, Mary Louise Reed of Martin, TN and Lavada Fay Mansfield of Chicago, IL

Funeral services will be held at Strong Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. John Poor officiating the service. Burial will follow in the Hickman City Cemetery.

 Pallbearers will be Matt O’Connor, Clint Malone, Judd Malone, David Black, Rob Garrigan and Chuck Moffitt.

Visitation will be at Strong Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21^st from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M.
