Leon Rushton

Mr. Leon Rushton, 92, a lifelong resident of Fulton, KY passed away Sunday,
April 19, 2020 at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab in Fulton, KY.

He was born on August 12, 1927 in Clinton, KY to the late Archie Rushton
and Willie Mai Scott Rushton Allison.

Leon was of the Baptist faith and was a United States Navy Veteran, where
he served in WWII. He retired as a Security Guard at MTD Products
in Martin, TN. He also owned and operated a Oversized Load Trucking- Escort
Business.

He is survived by two sons; Gary Fulcher of Fulton, KY and David Rushton
of Oklahoma, two daughters; Brenda Payne of Long Beach, MS and
Mary Eaves of Birmingham, AL, two grandchildren; Chris (Melissa) Fulcher of
Fulton, KY and Kim (Jesse) Pool of South Fulton, TN and two great-grandchildren;
Olivia and Corbin Fulcher of Fulton, KY.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Rushton, a son, Anthony Rushton,
a daughter, Kathy Gwin and a brother, Neal Rushton.

Memorials may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital,
501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

Due to the current events surrounding the viral pandemic of the
Coronavirus (COVID-19) the Rushton family will have a private visitation and
graveside service as required by Kentucky and Tennessee guidelines.
