Laura Catherine Stephens

Mrs. Laura Catherine (Bard) Stephens, age 92, of Mayfield, KY.,
formerly of Water Valley, KY., died Saturday, January 3, 2015
at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

She was a member of the Water Valley Baptist Church where
she served as the Church Organist and was a Sunday School
Teacher and was also a retired teller for the Reelfoot Bank in Fulton, KY. She was a past member of the Eastern Star and a member
of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She had lived all of her life in Water Valley, KY.

She is survived by two sons, Charles (Annie) Stephens of South
Fulton, TN., Tony (Patrisha) Stephens of Fulgham, KY., seven
grandchildren, Greg (Kerri) Stephens of Owensboro, KY.,
Laurie (Jimmy) Thorpe of Fulton, KY., James Stephens of
South Fulton, TN., Stacy (Keith) Howell of Fulgham, KY.,
Toni Ann (Randy) McDaniel of Water Valley, KY., and Stephen
and Gary Webb both of Jacksonville, FL., twenty three great
grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Murrel Stephens
November 22, 2012, her parents, Dr. Charles Blanchard
and Leila L. Bard, a daughter, Leila Maxine Webb, a brother,
and a great great granddaughter, Paris Jackson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Hornbeak Funeral
Chapel in Fulton, KY. Burial will follow in the Water Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
