Larry Evans

Mr. Larry Evans, age 70, of Dukedom, TN., died July 4, 2014 at the
Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.

He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Dresden, TN., and
was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an electrican for
the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company where he worked for 27 years. He had lived all of his life in the Ken-Tenn area.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years Jean (Sweatt) Evans of
Dukedom, TN., four children, Melissa Lester of Nashville, TN.,
Malcolm Lester of South Fulton, TN., Pamela Tucker of South Fulton, TN., Ronda Boone of Dukedom, TN., six grandchildren, Christina Moore of Camden, TN., Jana Bradford of Nashville, TN., Macie Lester, Balie
Lester, Callie Tucker, Kaylin Tucker all of South Fulton, TN., four sisters, Faye Spraggs of Clinton, KY, Shirley Evans of Dublin, KY, Linda Shelton of AZ., Sherry Williamson of Fulton, KY., and two brothers, Floyd Evans of Clinton, KY and Junior Evans of VA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Herbert and
Agnes (Floyd) Evans and a brother Steve Evans.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Jackson Funeral Home in Dukedom, TN. Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery in Dukedom, TN.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the Jackson Funeral Home.
