Mrs. Kay Lane Williams, age 80, of South Fulton, TN
passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on October 12, 1943 in Jackson, TN to the
late Marion Lane and Cloida Mae McNutt Lane.
Kay was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church
where she was a teacher in the Churches Rotation Station Children's
Ministry. Also, she was a former Elementary School Teacher at South Fulton
Elementary School and the Fulton Independent school system where she taught
between the years of 1979 and 2006.
She is survived by her husband, Jim Williams, whom she
married June 8, 1974, two daughters; Linn McClain of
South Fulton, TN and Wendy Williams of Jackson, TN,
a son Bart Williams of Milan, TN, her grandchildren; Brandy (Steven)
Wright of South Fulton, TN, Britton (Sadie) McClain of South Fulton, TN,
Caitlyn McClain of Martin, TN, Ella Williams of Jackson, TN; Five great-
grandchildren; Moses McKnight, Josh McKnight, Allie Wright, Aiden Wright,
and Ava Wright all of South Fulton, TN and one brother Chuck Lane of
Charlotte, NC.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister,
Yelena Van den Bosch.
Memorial services will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Fulton, KY
at 3PM Sunday, April 21, 2024, with visitation from 2PM Sunday until the
hour of service.
