Katie Stewart

Mrs. Katie Stewart, 64, of Hickman died on October 5, 2018 at the Clinton-Hickman Co. Nursing Facility in Clinton, KY.

She had been a bus driver for the Fulton County system and was a member of the Midway Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stewart was born in Hickman on December 8, 1953 to the late Charlie and Mary Spencer. 

Her husband, Roger Stewart and son, James Stewart preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Chris Stewart of Baton Rouge, LA, daughters, Rebecca Stewart of Green Bay, WI and Kelly Poynor of Hickman,  brothers, Charles Spencer of Union City, TN and Jack Spencer of Alaska, sisters, Connie Carrell and Shirley Novak, both of Fulton, KY, Marie Raley of Clinton, KY and Barbara Tacker of Hickman, six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 10^th at Strong Funeral Home with Rev. James Tacker officiating. 

Pallbearers are:  Bruce Poyner, James Elks, J. J. Hobbs, Shane Kratz, David Riffe and Johnny Crafton.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 A.M. until service time at Strong Funeral Home.
