Kate Anne Hood

Ms. Kate Anne Hood, age 93, of Lafayette, LA and formerly of Fulton, KY
passed away April 15, 2020 in Lafayette, LA.

She was born on October 26, 1926 in Shelby County, TN to the
late Felix Elbert Elliott, Sr and Mattie Bynum Elliott.

Kate Anne was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and
retired in 1977 from the Civil Service. She lived in Buckeye Lake,
OH for 36 years before returning to Fulton in 1998, then moving to
Lafayette, LA.

She is survived by three grandchildren; Michael Kinder of Birmingham,
AL, Petty Officer 1st Class Daniel Kinder of North Folk, VA and David
Kinder of Lafayette, LA, seven great-grandchildren and one step-
grandchild.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in by her daughter, Anne Golnick
and a brother.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, May 20th
in the Union Cemetery. There will be no visitation held and friends are asked
to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
