Mr. Richard Allen Hartz, age 84, of Fulton, KY passed away Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Clinton-Hickman County I.C.F.
He was born on November 24, 1936 in Reading, PA to the late Rufus Hartz and Grace V. Biffell Hartz Smith.
Richard was a member of the Fulton Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a retired United States Navy veteran. He was a former Fulton Fire Chief and an Arson Investigator for the State of Kentucky. Richard moved to this area in 1974.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Rosaria Paolillo Hartz, whom he married May 16, 1960 in Pompei, Italy, a son Richard Hartz, Jr (Jim Brymer) of St. Augustine, FL, two daughters; Marina Hartz Greer (Kent) of South Fulton, TN and Cindy Hartz Glisson (David) of South Fulton, TN, five grandchildren; Drew Greer of Oakland, TN, Kendall Greer of South Fulton, TN, Kaitlyn Greer of Owensboro, KY, Crockett Glisson of Farmington, MO and Emma Glisson of South Fulton, TN, two great-grandchildren; Baylor and Aubrey Greer of South Fulton, TN.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, October 22, 2021 in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from aMs. Judith E. Hutchens, age 84, of South Fulton, TN passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at Van Ayer in Martin, TN.
She was born on June 28, 1937 in Arlington, KY to the late Talmage and Virginia Holt.
Judith was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Fulton, KY and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She worked at the former Henry I. Siegel as a seamstress and retired from Wal-Mart where she worked in the fabric department.
She is survived by her children; Bonnie (Steven) Collier of Fulton, KY, John (Brandy) Hutchens of South Fulton and Shelia Roberts of South Fulton, TN, seven grandchildren; Mark Collier of Fulton, KY, Cody Hutchens of Portsmouth, VA, Austin Hutchens of Havelock, NC, Sylvia Bradley of Vermont, Hailey Bradley of Union City, TN, Clint Tibbs of Troy, TN and Carla Jo Butts of Union City, TN and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Carl Tibbs, a grandson Michael Scott Collier and a brother, Daniel Holt.
A memorial service will be at 1PM Saturday, October 23, 2021 in our funeral chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12Noon Saturday until the hour of service.
