John Earl McClanahan

Mr. John Earl McClanahan, age 84, of Fulton, KY
passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022 at the Fulton
Nursing and Rehab.

He was born on October 19, 1937 in Obion County,
TN to the late Cleo and Irene Campbell McClanahan.

John was a member of the First United Methodist Church
and was the owner and operator of the former Jones Auto
Parts Store in Fulton, KY. He loved basketball and lived
most of his life in this area. 

He is survived by his wife, Norma June King McClanahan,
whom he married July 1, 1956, a son David Earl (Susan)
McClanahan of Fulton, KY, six grandchildren: Brittany 
Nicole McClanahan of Martin, TN, James Dylan Earl 
McClanahan of Martin, TN, Jondavid Earl McClanahan
(Ally Samuel) of Fulton, KY, Dallas Walker McClanahan
of Fulton, KY, Amanda Morgan McClanahan of Fulton, KY
and Ashley Dawn (Alex) Kopriva of South Fulton, TN and
two great-grandchildren: Shelby K. Kopriva and Amelia
June Kopriva of South Fulton, TN.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a 
son, John Steven McClanahan and a brother, Cleo McClanahan.

There will be no services held at the funeral home and Hornbeak 
Funeral Chapel is in charge of cremation arrangements.
