Mr. John Madland, age 64, of Fulton, KY died Thursday morning, December 10,2015 at his residence.
He was of the Lutheran faith and was an avid musician. He had a career in restaurant management, riverboat industry, Federal Department of Corrections in WI and was a real estate broker. He attended the University of South Carolina and was a team member of the Gamecocks. He moved to Cadiz, KY from Adams-Friendship, WI in 2007 and then to Fulton in 2009.
He is survived by his wife Linda Lichty Madland of Fulton,KY, whom he married August 31, 1985, and a sister and brother in law Rhonda Larson Lichty (Wayne) of Montclair, VA and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley Maynard Marcus
Madland and Imogene Wade Madland.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, December 14 at the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at the hour of service.
