John Whitson Linder
Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday,
May 30, 2024 at the TriStar StoneCrest
Medical Center, in Smyrna, TN.
John was born on March 3, 1966, in Fayette, Co.
KY to his mother Thelma Lee "Johnson" Linder
of Union City, TN, and his late father Charles
Houston Linder.
He lived in Murfreesboro, TN for the past 40
years and was a Computer Engineer with a
Degree in Aerospace Engineering from MTSU.
He is also survived by his brother, Charles
Johnson (Lora) Linder of Hickman, KY; two
nephews, Samuel (Brittany) Linder and Patrick
(Tayler) Linder; and two great nieces, Lily and
Molly all of Hickman, KY, an uncle Richard Gouger
of Hickman, KY and several cousins.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by an
aunt, Shirley Gouger.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
