Mr. John Sublett Gambill, age 54, of Fulton, KY passed away Saturday,
September 21, 2019 at the Baptist Health of Paducah.
He was born on October 17, 1964 in Union City, TN to the late Joseph M.
Gambill, Sr and Margaret Sublett Gambill.
John was a member of the Pilot Oak Church of Christ and was very active in the
twin cities community. He was a member of the TCMO and was a Banana Festival
Committee member.
John also served as an EMT, Volunteer Fireman and auxiliary Policeman. He also served
on the Tourism Board and the Zoning Board for the City of Fulton, KY.
A life long resident of this area, John worked for the former Turner Dairies, Inc
in the milk bottling department for 18 years and was employed for 13 years
at the Lean To Restaurant in South Fulton, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Loggins Gambill of Fulton, KY, to whom he
married December 23, 2005, a daughter Lindsey (Emory) Goggins of Alexander
City, AL, four nieces, a nephew, a great nephew, two grandchildren; Ellis and
Charleigh Goggins of Alexander City, AL, two brothers; Joseph M. (Beth) Gambill, Jr
of Olney, TX and James C. (Debra) Gambill of Bowling Green, KY.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Wednesday in our funeral chapel with burial to
follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home
from 5-8PM Tuesday.
