Joe E. Taylor

Mr. Joe E. Taylor, 88, of Hickman, KY, passed away at the Clinton Place nursing home in Clinton, KY on Monday, April 11, 2022. Joe was born on October 12, 1933 to the late Edgar Lee Taylor and Blanche (Lomax) Taylor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. He was also a member of the West Baptist Church in Hickman, KY. He is survived by his wife Jan Louise (Sergeant) Taylor of Hickman, KY; daughter Candice Taylor of Hickman, KY, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Joe is preceded in death by 3 sisters, Elizabeth C. Mansfield, Betty McClure, and Peggy James. Funeral services for Mr. Joe E. Taylor will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Strong Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Sipes officiating. Burial will follow in the Hickman city cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Strong Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M. until service time. Ben Coffey, James Coffey, Bob Anderson, Gary McClure, Derrick McClure, and Caleb McClure will serve as pallbearers.
