Joe Davis Sanger

Mr. Joseph Davis Sanger, age 66, of Gallatin, TN and formerly of
Hickman, KY passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the
N.H.C. Place Sumner in Gallatin, TN.

Joe was born in Fulton County, KY on September 9, 1952, the son of
the late Robert Henry and Charlotte Davis Sanger.

Mr. Sanger was a member of the First United Methodist Church in
Hickman, KY where he served in many leadership roles. He was a
graduate of the University of Kentucky and a lifelong farmer in Fulton County,
KY and Lake County, TN. He served 31 years as a director of the Citizens Bank
of Hickman.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Kathy Mabry Sanger, two daughters;
Katie (Jordan) Hancock of Water Valley, KY and Betsy (David) Morris of
Gallatin, TN and two grandchildren; Avery and Lucy Morris of Gallatin, TN.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Sunday at the First United Methodist Church in Hickman, KY with burial to follow in the Rush Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 4-7PM Saturday and after 1PM Sunday until the hour of service.
