Mr. Joe Beard, age 66, of Fulton died Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at his residence.
He was a member of the Mt Carmel Baptist Church and a former member of the Wesley United Methodist Church where he was the song leader. He had worked at the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in the maintenance department.
Mr. Beard is survived by his wife, Brenda Beard whom he married January 6, 1973, his mother Mary Lou Jackson Beard of the Beelerton Community, a sister, Pat (David) Collins of the Beelerton Community, a brother in law, Jackie Lynn Wood of Murray, KY and two nephews; Tony (Jodie) Blalock of Fulton, KY and Timmy (Jennifer) Blalock of Water Valley, KY.
He is preceded in death by his father, Harold Lee Beard.
Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Wesley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9AM Thursday until the hour of service.
Memorials may be made to the Wesley Cemetery Fund, c/o Sherman Walker, 5599 State Route 1529 East, Fulton, KY. 42041.
