Jimmy (J. J.) Jenkins

Jimmy (J. J.) Jenkins, 65, of Big Sandy, Tn. and formerly of Weakley
County, Tn. died Friday in Hickman County, Ky.

He was a member of the Faxon Baptist Church in Big Sandy, was a
veteran of the U. S. Army, retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.
in 2009 and had lived in Big Sandy for the past four years.

He is survived by three sons, Tony (Christy) Jenkins of Fulgham, Ky.,
Bobby Jenkins of Mayfield, Ky, and Jackie (Jobeth) Jenkins of Big Sandy,
Tn, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a sister, Debby Dean of
Union City, Tn and a brother, Timothy Dean of Big Sandy, Tn.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Margaret Beard
Dean, one sister and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hornbeak Funeral
Chapel with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak, Tn. Friends
may call from 5 to 8 Monday at the Faxon Baptist Church in Big Sandy or
from 5 to 8 Tuesday at Hornbeak Funeral Chapel.
