Jimmie E. Yates

Mr. Jimmie E. Yates, age 85, of Fulton, KY passed away on December
2, 2019 at the Fulton Nursing & Rehab Center in Fulton.

He was born on January 24, 1934 in Graves Co., KY to the late Jay
Dalton "J.D." Yates and Opal Francis Casey Yates. He was of the
Baptist faith and was the owner of Yates Trucking Company and co-owner
of Jason's Diesel Repair in Fulton,KY. He had lived in this area all of his life.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sylvia Ann Ashby Yates of
Fulton, KY, a daughter Renee Hempel (Rick) of Union City, TN and a
son Jason Yates (Lisa) of South Fulton, TN; four grandchildren Tara
Williams (Steven) of Fulton,KY, Ricky Hempel of Huntsville, AL,
Vincent Yates and Spencer Yates, both of South Fulton, TN and
two great grandchildren, Mary Reese Williams and Conner Williams,
both of Fulton, KY.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Wednesday,December 4
at the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation held
at the funeral home and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at
the hour of service.
