Mr. Jim "Jimmy" Smith, age 55, of Fulton, KY died October 11, 2011 at the Parkway Regional Hospital -ER.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fulton, KY, was a butcher and the owner and operator of Jimmy's Market in Fulton. He had lived in this area most of his life.
He is survived by four daughters Carly Bryce Smith of Fulton, KY, Tia Beltz of Georgetown, KY, Rebecca Smith and Chrissi Smith, both of Coal City, IL and a step son Trevor Ward of Dukedom, TN; five grandchildren and two step grandchildren, his step mother Mitzi Smith of Kirksey, KY, a brother Dan Smith of Murray, KY, two half brothers John Smith of Calloway Co., KY and Paul Smith of Kirksey, KY, two step sisters Martha Pace of Murray, KY and Barbara Ross of Highland
Village, TX, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Hiram Buren Smith and his
mother Isabel Nancy (Bryce) Smith Zarley.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 14 at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Mount Olive Cemetery near Kirksey,KY.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Thursday, Oct. 13.
