Jesse Woodson James

Mr. Jesse Woodson James, age 68, of Martin, TN passed away Sunday,
September 22, 2019 at the Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was born on April 16, 1951 in Mayfield, KY to the late Thomas Odell James and
Billy June McNelly Johnson.

Mr. James was of the Baptist faith and was a truck driver for Trough
Transportation.

He is survived by his wife, Tina Gale Golightly James, whom he married May
15, 2010, his children; Billy Joe James of Clinton, KY, Kristy Ann (James) Baker
of Martin, TN and Bridget Jean James of Grand Prairie, TX, seven grandchildren,
five sisters; Patsy Raines of Santa Rosa Beach, NC, Carol Nickens of Evansville, IN,
Wanda Lynch of Sacramento, KY, Brenda James of Percy, IL Betty Hunter of South
Fulton, TN and two brothers; David Johnson of Sadieville, KY and Steve Johnson of
Wingo, KY.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Angelia Gale
James and his step-father Hubert Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Wednesday in our funeral chapel with burial
to follow in the Jones Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM
Tuesday.
