Jerry L. White

Mr. Jerry Lee White, age 71 of Hickman, KY, passed away Friday, September 22. 2023 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN. He was born in Union City, TN, on March 19, 1952 to the late Harry Leroy White and Yetta Arlene (Chapman) White. Jerry was a mechanic for the former Turner Dairies of Memphis, TN and served in the United States Army for 19 years and He was also a part of the 101st Airborne Division. He is survived by two nieces: Carrie Ashley of Millington,TN and Melanie Ashley (Bj Hemann) of Maplewood, NJ and one great niece: Elliot Cecile Hemann of Maplewood, NJ. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Cecile Ashley. Memorial graveside services will be held 11AM Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Hickman City Cemetery. There will be no visitation held at the funeral home and friends may meet at the time of service. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman is in charge of arrangements.
