Jerry Allen Walston

January 17, 1939 — March 25, 2018

Mr. Jerry Allen Walston of Pilot Oak, KY died Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was a member of the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and the Young At Heart Sunday School Class;

he served as a deacon and was also a Sunday School teacher. He was the owner of Jerry's

Appliance, Inc. in Mayfield, KY and lived in the Pilot Oak community.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Colburn Walston of

the Pilot Oak community, a son Greg Walston (Cytennia) of Sedalia,

KY, two daughters Jenny Yates (Kevin) of Medina, TN and Mary

Ann Crowder (David) of Mayfield, KY; 11 grandchildren and 11 great

grandchildren, a brother Michael Vaughn of Halls, TN, 4 sisters Brenda

Kay McCoy, Vicky Lynn Conner, Diana Faye Brown and Lori Jean

Edmison, all of South Fulton, TN; 7 half brothers and sisters - Shirley

Walston Looney of South Haven, MS, Sheila Walston Pino of Coldwater,

MS, Jimmy Walston of Walls,MS, Danny Walston of Sardis, MS, Linda

Walston Mills of Pontocac,MS, Debra Walston Downing of Walls, MS

and Jeff Walston of South Haven, MS.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step father Lillie Mae &

Harold "Shorty" Vaughn, his father John Allen Walston, and two half

brothers Terry Walston and Steve Walston.

Funeral service be held at 1 pm Wednesday, March 28th, at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Pilot Oak Baptist Church cemetery. Visitation will be at the Pilot Oak Baptist Church from 5-8 pm on Tuesday and after 10 am Wednesday until the funeral hour.
