Jerry Yates McCoy

Mr. Jerry Yates McCoy, age 84, of South Fulton, TN passed
away Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Clinton Place in Clinton,
KY.

He was born on June 29, 1939 in Weakley County, TN to the 
late Fred McCoy and Ava Nell Yates McCoy.

Jerry was the Co-Owner of McCoy Brothers Transmission 
in Union City, TN. He lived most of his life in this area.

He is survived by a son Tony (Tammie) McCoy of 
Union City, TN, a daughter Tina McCoy of South Fulton, TN,
two grandchildren: Lynda (Reid) Crittendon of Kenton, TN and 
Alex (Morgan) McCoy of Panama City, FL, three great-grandchildren:
Rozali Crittendon and Luke Crittendon both of Kenton, TN and 
Grayson McCoy of Panama City, FL, five brothers: Charles McCoy
of Fulton, KY, David McCoy of Union City, TN,  Freddie McCoy 
of Palmetto, GA, Sammie McCoy of Water valley, KY and Jessie McCoy
of Union City, TN and two sisters: Julia McCoy Lynch of Friendship, TN 
and Sara Sanders of Fulton, KY. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Joyce
McCoy, two brothers: Jimmy McCoy and Billy Joe McCoy and a sister,
Rachel Vaughn.

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, October 27, 2023 in
our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial 
Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Thursday.
