Jerry Blaylock

Mr. Jerry Blaylock, age 85, of Wingo, KY passed away January 26, 2021
at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY.

He was born on February 13, 1935 in Weakley County, TN to the late
William Bryant and Hattie Lola Wray Blaylock.

Jerry was a member of the House of Prayer Church in Mayfield. He
had worked for the former Reelfoot Packing Company in Union City,
TN and he retired from Griffin Industries as a truck driver. He also had
worked for the former Sun Wray Fertilize Company and Stephens Farms.
He lived all of his life in this area.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce D. Boyd Blaylock whom he married
December 29, 1956, a daughter Teresa Ann Travis and son-in-law Mark of
Cuba, KY, a son Randy Glenn Blaylock of Wingo, KY, three grandchildren;
Jerry Travis of Mayfield, KY, Tiffany Newhouse of Wingo, KY and
Whitney Kelly of Paducah, KY and four great-grandchildren;
Nathan Travis, Gage Newhouse, Lainey Kelly and Corbin Kelly.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 1PM Thursday at the Water Valley Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11AM Thursday until time to
leave for the cemetery for services. We do ask that you wear a mask for the visitation
and services for Mr. Blaylock.
