Janie Pillow

Mrs. Janie Pillow, age 75, of Wingo, KY passed away 
Monday, April 15, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein 
Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

She was born on May 25, 1948 in Tucson, AZ to the late
Wade B. Guyn and LeDorthea Charlene Byrd Cripe.

Janie was a member of the Mt Moriah Baptist Church and 
was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her husband, Joe Pillow, whom she married
September 5, 1968, a daughter Katrina Carol (Bobby) True 
of Bedford, KY, a son Joseph Chad Pillow of Wingo, KY, 
three grandchildren: Benjamin Isaac (Tracey) True of Coldspring, KY,
Colyn Guyn True (Skyler) Wright of Stanford, KY and Reese Mallory
(Morgan) True of Sulphur, KY, four great-grandchildren: Daphne Guyn True,
Porter Knox True, Torin Marshall True all of Coldspring, KY
and Embry Jane True of Sulphur, KY, two half-brothers: Larry
Cripe and Gary Cripe both of Tucson, AZ and a half sister, 
Karen Arrand of Vale, AZ. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, 
Joseph Christopher Pillow and a half-brother, Rob Cripe.

Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Mullins, Dale Fraiser, Phillip Smith,
Charlie Matheny, Shane McCarver, Jimmy Dan Hicks and Micah
McCarver. Honorary Pallbearers: David Cox and Justin House. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, April 19, 2024, in
our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Clark Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Thursday
and after 8AM Friday until the hour of service.
