Janie C. Hall

Mrs. Janie C. Hall, age 80, of  Dukedom, TN went home
to her Savior Sunday, June 4, 2023 at her residence.

She was born on February 6, 1943 to the late Garner
Callahan and Zola Burnett Callahan.

Janie was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church
where she was a Sunday School teacher for the women's
class. She held the church close to her heart and she sang
praises often. Janie was saved August 21, 1968. She had 
worked as a secretary for the former Metropolitan Life in 
Memphis, TN and she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children: Kathleen Tucker (Randal) Black
of Mayfield, KY, Jeffrey (Ginger) Hall of Sterling, VA and Rick
Hall of Sedalia, KY, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 
two great-great grandchildren, and a brother Larry Callahan of 
Rienzi, MS and several nieces and nephews also survived.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband
Lesley Russell Hall, a daughter Patricia Carlton and two brothers,
Charles Callahan and David Callahan.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, June 8, 2023 at the 
New Salem Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Acree Cemetery. 
Visitation will be held at the New Salem Baptist Church from 11AM Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Carlton, Jason Randal, Randal Black, Steve McClure,
Rick Hall and Theron Hall.
