Janice Marie Newbern

January 18, 1940 — April 24, 2006

Funeral service on Friday, April 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Paul AME Church in South Fulton,
burial in the Greenlea Cemetery.

Janice was a retired seamstress for the former Henry I. Siegel Clothing Co. and was a member of the St. Paul A.M.E. church where she served as pianist. She was a former member of the Ken-Tenn Homecoming and Reunion Committee and member of the Fulton-So. Fulton Community Serving Club.

She is survived by a sister-in-law, Frances Kerney of Union City,TN., half-sister,Annie B. Nolan of Indiana, sister-in-law, Mrs. Ester Newbern of North Lauderdale,FL., Aunt, Mrs. Martha Johnson of Fulton, KY,
2 nieces, Deirdre Newbern of Fulton, KY and Lisa Noonan of Fulton, KY,3 nephews, Paul Newbern, North Lauderdale, FL., Delmont Newbern of Fulton,KY and Fred Kerney of Union City,TN, 3 great nieces-Ronica Bobo& Makiah Kerney both of Union City,TN and Erica Newbern of Fulton, KY. 3 great nephews- Deondrick Coble and
Ramon Kerney of Union City, TN and
Damar Noonon of Fulton, KY.

(She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Marie Tharp Newbern and 2 brothers, Joe and Victor Newbern).
