Janice Joyce Martin

Mrs. Janice Joyce Martin, 74, of Fulton, KY, passed away at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY on Monday, May 30, 2022.

Janice was born on January 5, 1948 in Matthews Townplace, AR to the late Alfred and Nona (Henderson) Woods. She was known to many as “Nan”, and was also an avid card player.

She is survived by her husband Lyle Martin of Fulton, KY; son Marty (Candice) Martin of Lexington, TN; daughter Lisa (Scotty) Johnson of Fulton, KY; brother Robert (Francis) Woods of Hickman, KY; sister Mary Sue Woods of Auburn Hills, MI; grandchildren Jade (Preston) Eakes of Hickman, KY, Emil Bandurowicz of Fulton, KY, Lexi (Bubba) Kirby of Fulton, KY, Logan Johnson of Fulton, KY, Joshua Martin of Michigan, James Bauman of Oregon, Jessica Martin of Lexington, TN, Luke Rosson of Lexington, TN, Joe Simpson of Lexington, TN, and several great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Janice is preceded in death by 7 brothers and 1 sister.

A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Janice Joyce Martin will be held at the Hickman Community Outreach Center on Saturday, June 4, 2022. The family will receive visitors from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
