Janice Lee Cox

Mrs. Janice Lee Cox of Lascassas, TN and formerly of Fulton, KY passed away on Sunday,  May 23, 2021 at Murfreesboro Memory Care in          Murfreesboro, Tn.  

She was born on July 19, 1947 in Powell County, Ky to the late Edward Lee Stanfield and Louise Huff Stanfield.  

Janice was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse who had worked for the Womack Army Medical Center.  She was a member of the Mr. Carmel Baptist Church and had lived in this area since 2006.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth D. Cox (Kelly) of Wingo, Ky. and Phillip H. Cox, Jr. (Lynn) of St. Clair Shores, MI and a daughter, Kathryn M. Weigle (partner Jennifer Daniel) of Lascassas, TN., seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister Connie R. Poore of Tonganoxie, Kansas. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Cox.

Funeral service will be held at 9 AM Thursday, May 27th in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Cayce Methodist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-7 PM on Wednesday.
