James R. "Bobby" Buckingham

Mr. James R. “Bobby” Buckingham, age 78, of Fulton, KY died
August 29, 2012 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center ER
in Mayfield, KY.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in
Fulton and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a retired
switchman for the IC Railroad, was a part time policeman
and volunteer firefighter for the City of Fulton. He had lived
in this area all of his life.

He is survived by two daughters, Kelly Cash (Mike) of Fulton, KY,
Becky Hollingsworth (Chris) of South Fulton,TN, a son James R.
Buckingham II (Chris) of Fulton, KY, six grandchildren, David Rose
of Dukedom, TN, Sam Rose of Fulton, KY, McCall Buckingham of
Fulton, KY, Ben Green of Clinton, KY, Allie and Aaron Hollingsworth
of South Fulton,TN and a brother Butch Buckingham of Crutchfield, KY.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Buckingham, his parents
Gordon and Louise Binford Buckingham and a sister, Betty Gordon Buckingham.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, August 31 at the Fairview Cemetery in Fulton. Visitation will be at the Hornbeak
Funeral Chapel from 11 am Friday until time to leave for the
cemetery.
