James Raymond Phillips

October 5, 1913 — February 4, 2008

He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Fulton, KY and had been a farmer and also had been a mechanic for over 30 years working for the Hamms Garage.

He is survived by his wife - Mary Louise (Roberts) Phillips of Indianapolis,Indiana, whom he married June 7, 1938. 2 daughters: Nancy(husband- Pat),
Gail Sutton (husband -David) of South Fulton, TN;
brother - Hugh Phillips of Union City, TN. 4 grandchildren: Ricky Locke,Mary Shippoli, Davey Sutton and Kimber Matheny; 6 great grandchildren:Khaliah Anderson, Chance Shippoli, Payton Rushing, Noah Rushing, Ryan Matheny and Madison Matheny. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents - James and Lena Ruth (Leip)Phillips, 2 brothers - Dana Phillips and Robert Phillips, and a sister -
Irene Duncan.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Feb. 7,2008 at 10 am in our funeral chapel. Burial will be in the Obion Co. Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Wed. from 5-8 pm and anytime Thursday until the funeral hour.
