Mr. James T. Parrish, age 96, of Fulton, KY., died November 9, 2013
at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, TN.
He was a veteran of World War II having served in the Merchant Marines as a radio operator. He had also worked as a lab technician for IBM Corporations. He lived several years in New York and moved to Fulton, KY., after retirement in 1979.
He is survived by a daughter, Celeste Anderson of Fulton, KY., and a grandson Harry James Anderson also of Fulton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gunvor Parrish, his parents
John F. Parrish and Ruby (Williams) Parrish Phillips and a brother, Russell C. Parrish.
Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday in our funeral chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Weakley Co., TN.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 11AM Monday until the service hour.
