James Ervin McCoy

Mr. James Ervin "Jimmy" McCoy, age 83, of Wingo, KY died Tuesday, March 21,2017.

He was a self employed farmer and had worked for the former Reed Brothers Feed and Seed and Marine Oil in Fulton, KY. He lived all of his life in this area and was a veteran of the United States Army.

Mr. McCoy is survived by seven brothers; Charles F. McCoy of Fulton, KY, Jerry Yates McCoy of South Fulton, TN, Billy Joe McCoy of South Fulton, TN, Robert David McCoy of Union City, TN, Fred McCoy III of Palmetto, GA, Sam McCoy of Wingo, KY, Jesse L. McCoy of Union City, TN, two sisters; Julia Irene Lynch of Halls, TN and Sara Lou McCoy Sanders of Fulton, KY.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Ava Nell Yates McCoy
and a sister Rachel Carolyn Vaughn.


Funeral services will be held at 2PM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5-8PM Friday.
