James (Jim) Fethe

October 9, 1926 — November 5, 2017

Mr. James E."Jim" Fethe of Cincinnati, Ohio and formerly of Hickman,KY died Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home in Cincinnati.

Jim, son of Thelma and Charles H. Fethe, was born and raised in Hickman, Kentucky, and graduated from Hickman High School. He graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, and practiced retail Pharmacy in Mayfield and Frankfort, Kentucky for several years, and later became a Drug Inspector for the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy. He retired in 1991, and moved from Frankfort, Kentucky to Cincinnati, Ohio. Jim later worked part-time as a
Pharmacy Consultant for Southern Ohio Health Services Network in Cincinnati. Jim was a member and Deacon of Kenwood Baptist Church and he was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Carolyn U. Fethe, nephews; Tom (Becky) Fethe, Allen (Judy) Fethe, Chuck (Mary) Fethe, and other relatives and friends including longtime friend of 40 years Clyde M. Bowden and Dr. Craig P. Cleveland, Chadwick P. Cleveland, Christopher J. Cleveland and Lisa M. Cleveland.



Funeral services will be held at 11AM Saturday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Hickman City Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10AM Saturday until the hour of service.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, 110 Buchanan Street, Hickman, KY 42050.
