James Albert Jeffress

February 21, 1938 — June 25, 2013

Mr. James Albert "Jeff" Jeffress of Fulton, KY died June 25, 2013 at the home of his daughter.

He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Fulton and was a
veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served in Korea. He was a 1956
graduate of South Fulton High School and had retired from the former Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in Union City. He served as Post Commander of the Jones-Walker Post 4862 in Union City for 12 years and would have completed his term July 1. He had lived in this area all of his life.

He is survived by three daughters Kathy Jeffress Callison, Woodland Mills,TN, Bobbie Jeffress Hollingsworth, South Fulton, TN and Janie Jeffress
Johnson, Batesville, MS, two grandsons James Coy "J.C." Robinson,Hickman, KY and James Devin Elliott, South Fulton,TN; two brothers and sister in laws Billy and Rita Jeffress, Garland, TX and Michael and Bonnie
Jeffress, Fulton, KY, and three nephews David Wayne Jeffress, Plano,TX,Gary Don Jeffress, Garland, TX and David Michael Jeffress, Almo, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents Jessie (Stallins) and Albert Roper
Jeffress, a step daughter Michelle Rene Wade and a son in law Dennis G.
Callison.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday in our funeral chapel and interment will be in the Union Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6-8 pm on Thursday and after 8 am on Friday until the funeral hour.
