James Howard Hutchens

March 15, 1931 — December 9, 2013

Mr. James Howard "Hoot" "Hutch" Hutchens of Fulton, KY passed
away Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY with his family by his side.

He was born to the late Robert and Cynthella Lowery Hutchens on March 15, 1931 in Fulton County, KY. He retired from the Fulton Electric System in 1993 after 31 years as a lineman and foreman. He enjoyed his family, reading, was a loyal
fan of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball and St. Louis Cardinals. He was a charter member of Parkway Church of Christ and was a past deacon. He also was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion. He grew up in Hickman and graduated from Hickman
High School in Hickman, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Audrey Cathey Hutchens of
Fulton, KY, a daughter Cathey Lynn Hutchens Mulcahy (Charles) of Fulton, KY and a son James Kevin Hutchens of South Fulton, TN;
Five grandchildren Melanie Mulcahy Gunn of Fulton, KY, Robby Mulcahy of South Fulton, TN, Mitchell Mulcahy of Fulton, KY, Emily Hutchens Gallimore of Union City, TN and Bradley Hutchens of Union
City, TN; Seven great grandchildren Taylor Cantrell, Owen Gunn,
Charles Michael and Audriana Mulcahy, Cameron and Carson
Gallimore, Elizabeth Mulcahy and several nephews and a niece.

He was preceded in death by his brothers Raymond and John Hutchens, one sister Laverne Bequette, three half brothers Calvin,
Dave, Dewey Hutchens, three half sisters Meda, Tina and Pansey
Hutchens.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in our funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home from 5 to 8 Wednesday and anytime Thursday until the funeral hour.
