James "Strawberry" Hobbs, Jr.

Mr. James "Strawberry" Hobbs, Jr., age 65 of 
Hornbeak, TN, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023
at the Jackson-Madison County Hospital in
Jackson, TN.

Mr. Hobbs was born in Hickman, KY to the late
James W. Hobbs, Sr. and Bessie (Mann) Milton.
Mr. Hobbs has lived most of his life in this
area and worked for the Grounds/
Maintenance Department for Tyson Foods.
He loved watching TV especially WWE 
Wresting and Kentucky Basketball.

He is survived by two daughters: Mary Price
(Courtney) Betts of Hornbeak, TN and
Shondra Price, Kennett, MO, two sons:
James Hobbs III, (Amber) Hickman, KY,
Nick Lowery of Union City, TN and 21 
grandchildren, two sisters: Mary Wiggins
(Gable) of Tiptonville, TN, Rudene Willis of
Alabama, a brother Howard Hobbs
and his long time girlfriend, Kimberly Roberson.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in
death by two sisters: Martha Pickering and
Maddie Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Wednesday, 
September 13, 2023 Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-
Hickman in Hickman, KY. Visitation will held 
at the Hornbeak Funeral Chapel-Hickman from 11AM
Wednesday until the hour of service.
