James Lee Hall

August 9, 1936 — June 16, 2023

Mr. James Lee Hall, 86, of Louisville,

KY, formerly of South Fulton, TN

passed away at his residence on

June 16, 2023 in Louisville, KY.

 

He was born in Fulton, KY to the

late Waymon Ward Hall and Lura Mae

Miller Hall.

 

James was a member of the Okolona

Church Of Christ in Louisville, KY

and was a United States Army veteran.

He was a retired teacher/administrator

with the Jefferson County Public Schools

and attended Murray State University,

Western Kentucky University and the

University of Kentucky where he received

his Rank 1 master’s degree.  James lived most

of his life in Louisville.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded

in death by his wife, Margaret Nancy Counce

Hall who passed away on August 26,

2005, a brother Ancel Ward Hall and

one grandson Tyler Boone Dadisman.

 

He is survived by two daughters Joni

Lynn Hall of Franklin, TN, Leslie Denise

Dadisman (Steve) of Louisville, KY,

three sons: James Bradley Hall (Carol) of

Frisco, TX, Danan Lee Hall (Cheryl) of

Taylorsville, KY, Benjamin "Ben" Aaron

Hall of Louisville, KY, three brothers

Jerry Norman Hall (Linda) of Louisville, KY, Bobby

Joe Hall (Nancy) of South Fulton, TN,

Nathan Gene Hall (Samantha) of Murray, KY,

fifteen grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

 

A visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21,

2023 from10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at the

Hornbeak Funeral Chapel with a family graveside

to follow at the Obion County Memorial Gardens.

 

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 23 at

5PM EST at the Okolona Church of Christ,

6105 Outer Loop, Louisville, KY 40219.
